Mission
Our Mission is to teach elite level volleyball skills in a positive and encouraging environment. BVC strives to prepare our athletes to be successful at the next level and provide an environment which allows them to grow their love of the game and compete at their highest potentional possible. BVC coaches encourage player growth through positive feedback and are dedicated to demonstrating the highest level of sportsmanship on and off the court. They are looking forward to helping your athlete achieve their best.
Philosophy
Bloomington Volleyball Club wants every player to love volleyball more at the end of practice than they did in the beginning. We push to create the most positive and encouraging environment as we possible. In order to help us achieve this BVC hires paid professional coaches for each and every team. We believe in challenging each athlete to work hard to be the best they can be while teaching them to be part of a team and to be leaders on and off the court.
Owner/Director Biography
Todd Anderson
I was a teacher for 20ish years, I've been a coach for even longer. My kids range from high school to young adults. From my experience in life, teaching, and coaching I have learned the number one thing we can do for our children to help them in their future is help them gain confidence in themselves and learn how to be passionately committed to things. Every year I get to watch young athletes make a commitment to the fun sport of volleyball build their skills gaining confidence more and more along the way. This confidence and ability to commit then translates to their social skills, educational skills, as well as their mental state. In my experience helping our youth in this manner is absolutely priceless and our commitment to providing a fun, positive learning environment where our athletes excell on the volleyball court is the reaason I do this, it's the reason I got into teaching in the first place. I hope your young athlete will join us this fall and either start or continue their volleyball journey.
